Thank you Mike Ms Jericka Tom and Katie! I got my Class A on November 9th 2023 ! I received so much help and a lot of encouragement along the way. I was treated with respect and really enjoyed tda school would highly recommend it for anyone who was to be in the trucking industry.

Great school and staff, they were so helpful throughout the whole process. Always available to answer questions throughout this whole process and guide the students along the way. Their headquarters are nice and they have a great fully paved yard to teach you in. They are top notch I would highly recommend anyone to go see Tom or Katie at TDS if they are looking to start a career in truck driving.

I graduated from truck driving academy in 1997 and never looked back. Have had a great career from LTL to over the road and numerous small jobs in between would highly recommend the school to anybody looking to get into commercial driving. I had wonderful instructors. Thanks for a great career. I have never been without a job.

I have been wanting to do trucking for a long time now. Have been looking all around, found TDA Trucking and got in contact with Ellie. Ellie provided me with proper resources and excellent customer service with all the information I needed to get into the trucking career goal path. She is very supportive and motivating. She makes the process smooth and easy so it’s not so overwhelming and keeps in contact as well – which is always a plus! Thank you Ellie for all your help!

TDA is a wonderful school, the staff there are beyond amazing, patient, understanding, and very helpful. I look forward to starting school in July.

If you are looking to becoming a professional driver TDA is the way to go! This school has great staff that really care about you and they do everything in their power to make sure that when it comes down to go to the dmv your ready for whatever they throw at you. Ellie in the office is such an amazing person who really cares about you succeeding in the classroom. And Tom, Mark, and Patrick are in my opinion some of the best instructors there can possibly be! They take their time to really help you focus on what you are struggling with and make sure you’ve mastered the art of driving when it comes down to head to the dmv! I would highly recommend coming to this school if your thinking of becoming a professional driver! Thank you TDA for helping me become a professional driver!

Had the awesome and rare privilege to meet and work with an amazing team of people here at the Truck Driving Academy. It was nothing short of a blessing and honor to be taught by Mr Tom. that man is gift. Never thought for a second Id be truck driver but not only did Mr Tom and Mark turn me into a believer, They helped make it my reality along with all their other associates. Ellie in the office is a rockstar! Patrick is saint! And Mark is a Champion! They all work so hard and tirelessly to ensure that every student no matter what skill level leaves their presence and school with the tools, license, and skills, needed to go out in the real world and be successful and SAFE! Anything I needed whether it was extra time, practice, a pep talk, words of encouragement, advice, I got it and then some! Covid made the experience tough but our instructors showed us how to be tougher and it was something that we overcame together. I’m so glad and thankful that TDA is apart of my legacy. I cant thank you all enough!

Nothing but positive things to say about this place they have what it takes to get the job done, and great energy with a family vibe to boot, I would recommend this school over any other In the area hands down!!! Semper Fi.

This is for Marysville office; Rebekah and Katlyn are awesome and very flexible to help student needs. They go the extra mile. This school also works with state/federal funding. Give them an opportunity.

My Husband Shawn Riley just completed this program and got his CDL he passed with flying colors thanks to Ellia, Tom and Mark. Great teamwork and a great class to be in. An unforgettable experience! It’s time to go to work! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for him!

Was able to get my Class A in 5 weeks on my first try thanks to the great knowledge provided by the instructors. Would of been 4 weeks but my appointment had to get rescheduled but I was glad that Ellie was on top of her game and got me another appointment a week later even though the dmv wait time is almost two months for an appointment. I even got to drive a 53 footer so that helps ease the transition of driving in the real world. So glad I chose TDA! Thanks.

I came here as a veteran, and i was impressed with how quickly ellie submitted my paperwork to the va for my housing allowance, her perfect timing resulted in me being paid on time! The training i received was top of the line, tom and martin do a great job teaching students out on the yard. If you work hard in this class and pay attention to what is being taught then once it’s time for dmv there will be no issues. The training is very thourough while at the same time being to the point! It’s very apparent that these guys are passionate! They care about the students and will make sure you pass! 100 % would recommend to anyone wanting a class A. TDA will get you there.

TDA offered me a good opportunity for a new and more rewarding career. Instructors were patient and Julie went the extra mile to help me get my CDL.

I’ve had the best instructors both driving and in class. It’s been years 1992 when I went to this school but they were affordable and determined for my success! Don’t pass them up.

Awesome place to learn to drive trucks.

Being a student at TDA was one of the best experiences I had in my life. The training was top notch not only in the classroom but also in the yard learning how to drive and learning control of the truck thank you Danny and Julie for the excellent experience.

TDA is a four(4) week long Truck Driving school that focuses not only on a student getting their Class A license, but making a student a professional driver.

The school is set up for the students to get a lot of time behind the wheel of the truck. They do that by having a maximum of four(4) students to one(1) instructor at all times. If for any reason there would be more than 4 students, they call in another instructor with another truck to make sure they keep those numbers.

First week is in the class room learning the basics and getting ready to take the DMV written tests. Once you pass the test the rest of the time you are in the “Yard” learning the ins and outs of driving a commercial truck. The school has two(2) trucks to train you with. They are 10 speed manuals and have “sleepers” on them so they are the kind you would most likely be driving once you got a job.

You will learn city and highway driving in Yuba City, Marysville and Sacramento as will a small little towns around the area. You will drive on 99, 70, I 5 and I 80 and small little back roads that are narrow and tight as well as backing up to docks so you will be will rounded.

The school is great because if you have a hard time learning, or just take longer than the normal time, the school will continue to work with you until you have passed your driving test with DMV at no extra charge. There have been students there for months and months and the instructors work with them. As long as this is something you want, they will work with you as long as you are not disrespectful and you show up to class.

When I took my written test at DMV, they had guessed I came from TDA due to how will I did on my tests. While on my driving test, the DMV examiner made the comment “It was nice for once to ride with someone that knew how to drive” and while I waited outside DMV watching others students from other schools drive, I saw what the examiner was talking about. Out of about 10 student drivers that day, I was one of only two drivers to pass and get my license.

The school helps with financing and job placement. The day I passed my DMV Drive test, they had found me a job. The funny thing was, it wasn’t a truck driving job. In this school, you are a person, not a dollar sign. I had told them the field I was coming from was hard to find work in and that was why I was switching careers. They found me a job in my original career that paid better than what I had been getting before and would pay better then any job they could find at that time for trucking.

This school may cost a little more, but its will worth it with the time and focus they give you and they are the only one that is state certified in the area.

If that’s not enough, many of the students from the past came by or called up the instructors to let them know how they were doing and to ask them more questions about the industry, and even ask about companies before applying to see if it was what they were looking for. That says a lot to me.

Best School ever!!!!

I sent several friends there after I graduated and was helped to get my job. If you can’t pay they help you by finding you a job first. The teachers are awesome, and the staff was helpful. They had a couple of different trucks to learn on. I have and will continue to recommend my friends and family who want to learn to drive truck to TDA.

TDA is a Great truck driving school! I had checked out many different schools before committing to TDA. They were a little bit more expensive but totally worth the price! The teachers are amazing! And the program is great! I stayed on track, had no problems at DMV, and right after TDA even helped me get a job!! I paid off my school in less then a month with the job they got me! Will send everyone I know in their direction! Thanks again TDA!
